Are you a caring, patient and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Gainsborough, supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them engage with learning, develop confidence and reach their full potential. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment, providing tailored support for pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant who is compassionate, adaptable and passionate about making a positive difference in children's lives. Experience working in a school is not essential. We welcome applicants with transferable skills and relevant experience from other sectors, particularly those who have supported individuals with SEN, SEMH or additional needs in settings such as care, support work, residential services or youth work.
A positive attitude, patience, strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help children succeed are essential.
What We Offer
We offer competitive rates of pay depending on experience, the opportunity to gain valuable experience within a specialist SEN setting, and the chance to make a real difference to the lives of children who need additional support.
Important: Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship.
Interested? Apply today! If you are looking for a rewarding role where your skills and compassion can make a difference, we would love to hear from you.
