How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Assistant Store Manager

    Up to £34,000 + Benefits

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Assistant Store Manager to support the leadership of a high-performing fashion boutique for a well-established, founder-led premium British retail brand.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in driving strong weekly performance, developing a successful team and contributing to a brand built on offering unique shopping experiences and timeless styles.

    The Role

As Assistant Store Manager, you will work closely with the Store Manager to drive commercial performance, lead and develop the team, and ensure the boutique consistently delivers outstanding service.

You will help create a high-energy, sales-driven environment, maintaining excellent operational standards while acting as a role model for customer experience, team engagement and commercial success.

This is a high-density environment requiring energy, resilience and strong commercial awareness. You will take ownership of the shopfloor during key trading periods, support the Store Manager with daily operations and play an active role in achieving the boutique's commercial objectives.

    Key Responsibilities

Support the Store Manager in leading, motivating and developing a high-performing team.

Lead by example on the shopfloor, driving sales and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Drive performance against key KPIs including UPT, ATV, conversion and customer capture.

Coach and develop team members, providing regular feedback and supporting individual performance.

Analyse sales performance, identify opportunities and implement initiatives to maximise results.

Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and overall store presentation.

Support day-to-day operations, including stock management, replenishment, scheduling and general store tasks.

Take responsibility for the boutique in the Store Manager's absence, ensuring smooth daily operations.

Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat business through personalised service and client engagement.

Contribute ideas to improve store performance, customer experience and team development.

    About You

Previous experience as an Assistant Store Manager, Supervisor or experienced retail team leader within a premium or service-led retail environment.

A hands-on leader who enjoys being on the shopfloor and leading by example.

Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and developing successful teams.

Commercially driven, with a strong understanding of retail KPIs and sales performance.

Confident in coaching, motivating and supporting team members to achieve targets.

Resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Strong attention to detail in product presentation, visual merchandising and store standards.

Previous experience or a strong interest in digital marketing would be advantageous.

Positive, proactive and confident in taking ownership and supporting the wider business.

    The Environment

Founder-led business with strong values and clear direction.

Collaborative culture where ideas are encouraged and valued.

High trust with opportunities to take ownership.

Shopfloor-first approach focused on service, sales and team engagement.

Inclusive, supportive and professional team environment.

    What's on Offer

    Up to £34,000 salary

Fantastic commission scheme earning up to £500 per month

    £1,200 per year uniform allowance

    No late trading hours.

Opportunity to grow within a premium retail environment.

Work within a respected and established retail brand.

If you are an ambitious Assistant Store Manager looking to take the next step in your career within a fast-paced premium fashion environment, we would love to hear from you.
