How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    With a great mix of projects covering public realm, residential, education, healthcare and urban regeneration, there's plenty of variety on offer. The team works on projects from the early design stages right through to technical delivery, so this is a chance to get involved in the whole process rather than just one part of it.

Someone who can bring fresh ideas to the table, work independently when needed and enjoy being part of a collaborative team where everyone's contribution matters.

    THE CHARTERED LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT ROLE

    * Taking ownership of landscape projects from initial concepts through to detailed design and completion

    * Creating imaginative landscape designs, masterplans and technical drawing packages

    * Producing hard and soft landscape plans, specifications and construction details

    * Working closely with clients, architects and other consultants

    * Managing project programmes, deadlines and deliverables

    * Supporting and mentoring more junior landscape architects

    * Getting involved in client meetings, design workshops and site visits

    ABOUT YOU

    * Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI)

    * A strong background in landscape design within a consultancy environment

    * Confident managing projects independently from start to finish, with the experience to make an immediate contribution

    * A creative eye for design backed up by strong technical knowledge

    * Experience delivering projects through different RIBA stages

    * Confident working with clients and other design professionals

    * Comfortable using AutoCAD, Revit and Adobe Creative Suite

    * Someone who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in producing great work

    ON OFFER

    * Flexible working arrangements

    * Training and professional development opportunities

    * Generous holiday allowance

    * Private healthcare

    * Career progression opportunities

    * Varied projects across different sectors

    * Supportive and collaborative working environment

    * Employee-owned practice

    * Additional company benefits
