How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About This Role

We are looking for caring, dedicated and confident Healthcare Assistants to join the team supporting a beautiful baby boy who lives at home with his family in Stoke-on-Trent.

Due to his complex clinical needs, he requires skilled, attentive and compassionate support. As part of his dedicated care team, you will provide 1:1 support, helping with all aspects of his care, including personal care and clinical needs, while ensuring he remains safe, comfortable and well supported at home.

Alongside his care, you will play an important role in supporting his development, wellbeing and quality of life. This may include spending time with him through play, sensory activities and other age-appropriate interactions, creating positive experiences and helping him feel happy, comfortable and engaged.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant who is confident, patient and compassionate, with experience or a genuine interest in providing complex care to children and making a meaningful difference to a young person's everyday life.

Please note: Due to the nature of our vacancies, our clients have the right to request either female or male staff.

Our client’s family have requested females only to join their care team.

“This isn't just a job – it’s your opportunity to make a real difference in someone’s life.”

    Clinical Experience

Previous experience supporting children with complex healthcare needs is desirable.

Where required, specialist clinical training will be provided by our highly skilled, in-house nursing team.
