Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for a reliable, experienced Transport Supervisor to join our client in Lutterworth. Our client is one of the UK's largest parcel distribution companies.
Transport knowledge is essential, as you will be working in a busy transport office, and the role will include:
Leading the Transport Team, ensuring all duties are undertaken:
Ensuring on-time departure and exception reporting
Checking driver paperwork
Updating delivery schedules Managing the workforce with:
Performance & output
Disciplinary procedures
Mentoring & Engagement
Staff developmentYou will play a key role in ensuring continuous improvement and always encouraging the company culture. What You Need:
You will have experience in a fast-paced logistics operation
You will have strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels
Demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines
Excellent computer and IT skills
Have a health and safety focused mindset
