About Joloda Hydraroll
Joloda Hydraroll design and manufacture loading systems that get goods on and off trucks and trailers faster. They've been doing it for over 60 years, with more than 500,000 systems installed and around 85% of output exported. Customers include Amazon, DHL and Nestlé.
The engineering team is growing to keep up with client demand.
The role
You'll own the electrical design of automated loading systems, from schematics and panel layouts through to the documentation the build team works from.
You'll work closely with mechanical, controls, project and service engineers so what's designed can be built, wired and commissioned without surprises. You'll also have a real say in how electrical design is done here.
You'll:
Design control panels, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and panel layouts
Select components and make sure designs meet IEC, UL and NFPA standards
Work with PLC programmers to integrate Siemens (S7, TIA Portal) and Rockwell hardware
Produce cable schedules, harness diagrams and test plans
Work with mechanical and project engineers to deliver manufacturable designs
Visit client sites occasionally to see your systems installed
