How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

You will play a key role in delivering projects across the organisation, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality and regulatory standards.

The successful candidate will help shape workplace strategy, manage contractors and stakeholders, and ensure offices and working environments support effective service delivery.

    Duties:

Plan and deliver workplace, facilities management and real estate projects from inception through to completion.
Support the strategic site strategy by identifying, prioritising and managing projects in line with organisational objectives.
Manage project scopes, budgets, deliverables, timescales, quality assurance and benefits.
Coordinate the delivery of large mechanical and electrical (M&E) projects, including both proactive and reactive works.
Provide regular project reporting covering progress, budgets, risks, issues and lessons learned.
Manage contracts and work collaboratively with Health and Safety, Procurement and Finance teams to ensure compliance.
Build strong relationships with contractors and monitor performance to ensure projects meet agreed standards.
Manage project changes, ensuring amendments to scope, budgets and timescales are recorded, monitored and approved.
Work collaboratively with internal departments to understand operational requirements, including office space and hub planning.
Support corporate real estate activities, including property searches, selections, acquisitions and disposals.
Liaise with legal teams, property agents and estates teams on lease arrangements, contract reviews and Heads of Terms.
Maintain accurate real estate records and provide reporting to support strategic decision-making and Executive Board assurance.
Manage tenant relationships, respond to queries and oversee service charge and utility billing.
Review annual service charge budgets and prepare year-end accounts for approval.
Ensure projects consider sustainability, accessibility, improved working practices and the impact on customer service delivery. Requirements:

Proven experience working as a Project Manager, ideally within workplace, facilities management, property or real estate environments.
A project management qualification is desirable, although training may be provided.
Good understanding of risk management, regulatory compliance and health and safety requirements.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and challenge constructively.
Experience leading teams, with the ability to motivate, develop and empower others.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads, work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Experience managing budgets, contractors, contracts and project reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
A proactive and flexible approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement and high customer service standards.
First Aid and Fire Warden training, and IOSH Managing Safely, are desirable, although training may be provided.
A full driving licence and/or the ability to travel efficiently to sites, tenants and meetings, including locations not easily accessible by public transport.
A commitment to demonstrating the organisation's values and behaviours. Benefits:

Opportunity to manage a varied portfolio of workplace and property projects.
Work collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
