TeacherActive is proud to be working with a lovely 2-form entry Primary School in Levenshulme that has achieved an ‘Outstanding’ OFSTED rating. The school offers a welcoming and supportive environment with a strong focus on helping pupils develop academically and personally.
The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a long-term, full-time basis from November. The successful Teaching Assistant will be based in a Year 1 classroom, supporting the class teacher with day-to-day learning, working with groups of pupils and delivering interventions where required.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
• Experience working with children in a Primary School setting
• Experience supporting pupils in Key Stage 1 / KS1
• Experience working with small groups and delivering interventions is beneficial
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A positive, patient and adaptable approach
