How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Measure key dimensions, including offsets, centre bores and fixing patterns, using appropriate equipment.

Perform periodic PPAP checks and support internal and external product testing.

Identify, record and report non-conforming products, ensuring full traceability.

Support NCR and 8D investigations through measurements, photographs, test results and verification checks.

Maintain technical documentation, including drawings, specification sheets, test certificates and inspection records.

Review supplier drawings, certificates and samples against agreed specifications.

Support Sales, Purchasing and customers with routine technical queries.

Assist with new product sample checks and develop practical inspection instructions.

    Essential Skills & Experience

Relevant mechanical or automotive qualification, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience in quality inspection, mechanical engineering, component testing or a similar hands-on technical role.

Ability to read engineering drawings and understand dimensions, tolerances and inspection requirements.

Confident using measuring equipment and accurately recording results.

Strong attention to detail, methodical problem-solving skills and a practical approach.

Good organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently.

Desirable: Experience with wheels and tyres, particularly in trailer, agricultural, off-highway or industrial applications.

    Hours & Benefits

    Monday–Thursday: 08:15–17:00

    Friday: 08:15–13:45

    Holiday: 23 days per year

    Pension: 5% employer contribution

Life insurance: Four times annual basic salary
