How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Marketing Manager | Manchester (on-site) | £45k–£50k + benefits

Love marketing that actually moves the needle? Happy writing a blog in the morning, launching a LinkedIn campaign after lunch and working a trade show stand the next day? This could be a great fit.

    About the company
I’m partnering with a fast-growing, tech-led logistics business headquartered in Manchester. Their platform, smart routing and real-time tracking power rapid, same-day and next-day delivery across major UK cities for well-known retail and ecommerce brands, and they’re scaling quickly.

    About the role
This is the business’s main marketing role, and they need a true all-rounder. You’ll report into the co-founder and work closely with the sales team. There’s no big marketing team, so you’ll set the plan and deliver it yourself. It suits someone who loves variety and wants to see the direct impact of their work.

    What you’ll be doing

    * Strategy and growth: building the marketing plan, leading product launches and running demand gen campaigns that create pipeline for sales

    * Brand and content: owning the brand and producing case studies, blogs, research reports, sales collateral and PR

    * Channels: running LinkedIn, email, paid, SEO, the website and the CRM, including ABM into target retail accounts

    * Events: planning and delivering trade shows, events and webinars

    * Reporting: managing the budget and tracking leads, pipeline and ROI

    What you’ll bring

    * 4+ years in a generalist B2B marketing role, ideally in logistics, ecommerce, retail tech or SaaS

    * A track record of demand gen campaigns that delivered real pipeline

    * Strong digital skills and confidence using data to improve results

    * Hands-on experience with HubSpot or a similar CRM

    * Great writing that makes technical services sound simple

    * Bonus points for scale-up or solo marketing experience, or knowledge of UK retail delivery

    What’s on offer

    * £45k–£50k plus benefits

    * Real ownership of marketing, with a direct line to the co-founder

    * The chance to shape marketing at a fast-growing logistics tech business

Interested? Message me or email for a confidential chat. I’m happy to share more about the business once we’ve spoken
