How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

You'll be responsible for identifying and securing new customers, then developing and growing those accounts during their first 12 months before handing them over to an established account management structure. It's a role that rewards relationship building just as much as business development.

Build and develop profitable long-term customer relationships.
Retain ownership of new accounts during the critical onboarding and growth phase.
Help shape the commercial expansion of the business across Scotland.
Influence the future success of a business with ambitious growth plans. Key Responsibilities

Identify, target, and win new customers across Dundee and surrounding areas.
Develop and execute a territory growth plan aligned to business objectives.
Generate opportunities through networking, prospecting, referrals, social selling, and industry engagement.
Build strong relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders.
Present tailored proposals, negotiate commercial agreements, and secure profitable business.
Manage onboarding and account development for newly acquired customers.
Maintain CRM accuracy, pipeline visibility, and forecast reporting.
Work closely with the operations, procurement, customer service, and commercial teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience. Requirements

    About You

    You will ideally have:

Experience within packaging, industrial consumables, manufacturing, distribution, or a related B2B environment.
A proven track record of delivering new business growth and exceeding sales targets.
Strong prospecting, negotiation, and account development skills.
Experience using CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
Commercial awareness, resilience, and a self-motivated approach.
A full UK driving licence. Benefits

    What's in it for You?

Join a business at an exciting stage in its growth, with significant investment and ambition.
Genuine autonomy to develop your territory and build your own customer base.
Competitive salary, uncapped earnings potential, company car / car allowance, pension, laptop and mobile phone.
Ongoing training, support, and career development opportunities.
A culture built around integrity, collaboration, trust, and long-term success. Ready for Your Next Challenge?

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a growing business with ambitious plans, strong leadership, and the backing to support your success.
