How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

HR Business Partner – UK & Ireland

Leading Tech Business | Newcastle (Hybrid)

    £50,000 – £60,000 DOE + Car Allowance + Generous Benefits

A fantastic opportunity to join a successful, high‑growth tech organisation operating across the UK and Ireland. With a workforce of technical specialists, engineers, sales teams and support staff, the business is seeking a credible, commercially minded HR Business Partner to strengthen HR foundations, support managers and drive a people agenda that enables continued business growth.

    The Role

As the senior HR lead for the UK & Ireland, you’ll partner closely with leaders to ensure consistency, clarity and alignment across the full employee lifecycle. You’ll provide trusted guidance, build manager capability and deliver people initiatives that directly support organisational performance, culture and future growth.

    Key Focus Areas

    * Recruitment & Selection: Improve attraction and selection processes; embed robust and effective hiring methods; enhance employer branding; support managers with talent planning, capability and workforce planning.

    * Onboarding: Develop and deliver a more rounded onboarding experience including career pathways, development opportunities, culture and policies.

    * HR Systems & Processes: Optimise HR workflows; ensure smooth integration with payroll and finance; align UK processes with European frameworks.

    * Engagement & Wellbeing: Drive actions from bi‑annual engagement surveys; champion wellbeing initiatives, particularly around mental health.

    * Manager Support: Coach managers on ER, performance, feedback, engagement and people management; build capability and confidence across all sites.

    * Performance & Development: Lead performance, engagement and remuneration processes; support talent development, succession planning and retention.

    * HR Insight: Use HR data and metrics to inform decisions and provide meaningful insight to leaders.

    * Culture: Strengthen communication, connection and consistency across UK & Ireland teams; support leaders in building a positive, inclusive and high‑performing culture.

    * Talent Development: Enhance and develop career pathways and talent journeys across technical, sales and support roles.

    What You’ll Bring

    * Strong HR partnering experience in a commercial, fast‑paced environment.

    * A proactive, solutions‑focused approach with the ability to influence and build trust.

    * Confidence supporting managers and driving improvements across multiple sites.

    * Ability to balance strategic partnering with hands‑on delivery.

    * Comfortable working in a technical, consultancy‑led organisation.

    * Willingness to travel to UK sites, with occasional travel to Ireland and Europe.

    * Strong knowledge of talent development, management, employment law and organisational development.

    * Ideally CIPD Level 5 qualified or degree‑level equivalent.

    Why This Role?

You’ll play a central part in supporting business growth, strengthening culture and ensuring the organisation has the people foundations, processes and capability needed to scale. This is a visible, impactful role offering autonomy, variety and the chance to make a meaningful difference across the UK & Ireland operation
