How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Trainee Drainage CCTV Processor

    Company: First Choice Drainage Solutions
    Location: Matching Green, Harlow
    Hours: 08:00–17:00 (Full time)
Salary: Competitive - Depending on experience

    About Us

At First Choice Drainage Solutions, we’re a growing drainage company with an increasing workload across London and the surrounding counties.

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our close-knit office team in Matching Green, Harlow, as a Trainee Drainage CCTV Processor.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career within the drainage industry. Full training will be provided, working closely with our CCTV Processor, who will support you in learning how to process CCTV drainage surveys, produce technical reports and understand the day-to-day running of a busy drainage office.

As the company continues to grow, there will be opportunities to develop your skills and progress into a fully competent CCTV Processor.

    The Role

Working alongside the CCTV Processor, you will learn how to process drainage CCTV surveys and assist with the coordination of engineers, customer enquiries and general office administration.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised, computer-literate and keen to learn. Previous experience in drainage, plumbing or a similar industry is beneficial but not essential. Most importantly, you must have a positive attitude, good attention to detail and a willingness to learn new skills.

    Main Responsibilities and Duties

Working under the guidance of the CCTV Processor, your responsibilities will include:

    * Learning how to review engineers’ CCTV drainage surveys and produce accurate, professional reports, with full training provided.

    * Assisting with the processing of CCTV footage, survey information and supporting documentation.

    * Helping to manage customer telephone calls, emails, enquiries and requests professionally.

    * Assisting with booking, scheduling and prioritising engineers’ workloads and diaries.

    * Liaising with engineers daily to communicate job details, confirm updates and follow up on completed job sheets.

    * Maintaining accurate records on company systems and ensuring relevant paperwork is completed.

    * Providing general administrative support to the CCTV Processor and wider team as required.

As your knowledge and confidence grow, you will gradually take on more responsibility for processing surveys and producing CCTV reports independently.

    Skills and Personal Attributes

We are looking for someone who has:

    * A genuine willingness to learn and develop a career within the drainage industry.

    * Good computer skills and confidence using everyday office software.

    * Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately.

    * Good organisational skills and the ability to manage and prioritise tasks.

    * Clear and professional communication skills, both over the telephone and in writing.

    * A friendly, helpful and customer-focused attitude.

    * A proactive approach and the ability to use initiative when appropriate.

    * A reliable, positive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team.

    * Good numerical and general administrative skills.

Previous experience is not essential. Experience using CRM systems, Microsoft Excel, Adobe software or working in a trade-based environment would be advantageous, but training will be provided for the right candidate.

    What We Offer

    * Full on-the-job training with ongoing support from our experienced CCTV Processor.

    * The opportunity to learn a specialist skill within the drainage industry.

    * Clear opportunities for career development and progression as the company expands.

    * A friendly, supportive and close-knit working environment.

    * 20 days' annual leave plus bank holidays.

    * Pension scheme.

    * Full-time, office-based role with consistent working hours.

    Who Should Apply?

This role would suit someone looking for an entry-level office position who wants to learn a specialist trade-related skill and build a long-term career. Whether you are starting your first office job, changing careers or looking for an opportunity to develop within a growing business, we would love to hear from you.

If you are organised, enthusiastic, reliable and keen to learn, we would welcome your application to join the team at First Choice Drainage Solutions
