How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    * Competent in use of Microsoft 365 and other IT platforms such as Pipedrive.

    * Self-managed, organised and accountable for daily activity and follow-ups.

    * Aligned to Accent’s culture: high standards, teamwork and genuine care for clients.

    * Customer focused, committed to understanding needs and exceeding expectations.

    * Passionate, proactive and willing to learn and share knowledge.

    * Uses initiative and takes ownership of results.

    * Confident, professional communicator with clients and colleagues.

    * Competent in telephone, email and face-to-face communication.

    Main Areas of Responsibility:

    * Make consistent outbound cold calls to targeted businesses and decision-makers every working day.

    * Research prospects and follow up by telephone, email and LinkedIn.

    * Qualify projects and book meaningful introductory meetings for the Sales Team.

    * Log all calls, outcomes and next actions accurately and promptly in Pipedrive.

    * Manage timely follow-ups and identify genuine opportunities to quote.

    * Attend selected networking events and meetings as agreed, alongside ongoing cold calling.

    * Review activity, appointments and opportunities weekly with the Sales Director.

The above list is not exhaustive and the role may evolve to include additional duties as required in conjunction with the Sales Director reviews.

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

    * Outbound calls and meaningful conversations.

    * Qualified attended appointments and opportunities to quote.

    Career Progression:

    * Scope to develop networking and client relationships based on performance within 2-3 years. Outbound cold calling remains a core duty
