How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
    • Manage incoming communications, helping to prioritise requests and ensure important matters receive appropriate attention.
    • Coordinate business travel, appointments and other arrangements as required.
    • Proactively anticipate the CEO's needs, identify priorities and take ownership of tasks to support the effective running of the business.
    • Act as a professional point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, representing the business to a high standard.
    Sales Proposals & Commercial Support
    • Create and develop high-quality, creative and tailored sales proposals that respond to individual client requirements.
    • Produce professional presentations and supporting documents that clearly communicate the company's offering and commercial value.
    • Interpret client briefs and develop compelling proposals that help convert enquiries into business opportunities.
    • Work closely with the team to support sales activity and ensure proposals are delivered accurately and within agreed deadlines.
    • Use creative thinking to develop engaging ways of presenting information and differentiating the company's offering.
    • Support the preparation of quotations, commercial documentation and client-facing materials as required.
    • Maintain a professional and consistent standard across all sales proposals and communications.
    Business Coordination & Administration
    • Coordinate multiple projects and priorities, ensuring deadlines and commitments are met.
    • Maintain organised records, documentation and business information.
    • Support the preparation of reports, business documents and management information as required.
