Salary: £50,000 - £80,000 + Package
We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Ductwork Estimator to join an established contractor specialising in ductwork and ventilation installations across the commercial building services sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of ductwork systems, ventilation and HVAC installations who can accurately price projects and support the business in securing new work.
The Role
*
Preparing detailed cost estimates and tenders for ductwork and ventilation packages.
*
Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
*
Completing material take-offs and calculating labour and installation costs.
*
Obtaining and reviewing supplier and subcontractor quotations.
*
Liaising with clients, suppliers and internal project teams.
*
Identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and commercial accuracy.
*
Supporting the wider pre-construction and commercial functions.
Requirements
*
Previous experience as a Ductwork Estimator, HVAC Estimator or Mechanical Estimator.
*
Strong knowledge of ductwork, ventilation systems and installation methods.
*
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
*
Experience completing take-offs, pricing schedules and tender submissions.
*
Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
