NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR – FINANCE

Bring your financial expertise to a role that makes a difference

Are you an experienced senior finance or accounting professional looking for an opportunity to use your expertise, judgement and experience in a different way?

We are seeking a Non-Executive Director with a strong financial or accounting background to join our Board and help shape the continued success and future direction of our not-for-profit organisation.

Providing residential and nursing care across Shropshire, we are looking for someone who shares our values and understands that strong financial stewardship and good governance are fundamental to delivering high-quality, sustainable care.

You may currently hold, or have previously held, a senior role in finance, accountancy or a related field. What matters most is the experience and perspective you can bring to the Board: offering constructive challenge, asking the right questions and contributing independent insight to our strategic and financial oversight.

We would particularly welcome interest from people with strong connections to the Shropshire business and professional community, although finding the right person with the right values, experience and outlook is most important.

This is a paid Non-Executive Director position, requiring approximately 10 hours per month, predominantly during normal working hours.
