Deeside, Flintshire / £19.00 per hour / Immediate Start Available / Commercial New Build Project
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Handyman / Skilled Labourer to join a busy commercial construction project based in Deeside Industrial Park, Flintshire. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established contractor on a long-term new build development, offering competitive rates and a supportive site team.
The Role
As a Handyman, you will be carrying out a variety of finishing and maintenance tasks on site, working under the direction of the Site Manager. Duties will include:
Basic joinery works
Installation of skirting boards
Patch plastering and making good
Painting and decorating touch-ups
General snagging and finishing tasks
Assisting with first-fix and second-fix duties where required
Completing additional skilled tasks as instructed by site management
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have:
Previous experience as a Handyman or Skilled Labourer within construction
Experience in basic joinery, patch plastering and painting
Own basic hand and power tools
Valid CSCS Card
Full PPE (Hard Hat, Hi-Vis Vest and Safety Boots)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable and hardworking attitude

Monday to Friday 7:30am – 4:30pm
