Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour, increasing to £15.61 per hour after 12 weeks
Shift: Night Shift Monday to Friday
We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join a busy manufacturing environment in Brierley Hill on a night shift.
This is a varied role where you will be trained across different areas of production, making it ideal for candidates with previous experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, warehouse or other hands-on roles.
The Role
As a Production Operative, your duties will include:
Trimming and finishing manufactured components
Carrying out visual quality inspections to ensure products meet the required standards
Assembling components using basic hand tools and production equipment
Operating a small press to fit fixings into components
Identifying and reporting any faults or defects
Packing finished products ready for dispatch
Completing production paperwork and recording quantities produced
Learning and operating the basic controls of production machinery
Working to production targets while maintaining high-quality standards
Moving between different areas of production depending on business requirements
You will be required to work flexibly across different areas of production, with duties potentially changing from day to day.
Full training will be provided. However, you will need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, meeting production targets and moving between different tasks throughout the shift.
Hours of Work
Night Shift:
Monday to Thursday:
9:40pm - 5:50am
Friday:
5:00pm - 10:50pm
Pay Rates
First 12 Weeks:
£12.71 per hour
After 12 Weeks:
£15.61 per hour
What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will ideally have:
Previous experience in production, manufacturing, assembly, warehouse or another hands-on environment
Good attention to detail
A strong focus on quality
The ability to work towards production targets
Good hand skills and dexterity
The ability to follow written instructions and procedures
A reliable and hardworking attitude
A willingness to learn new skills and work across different areas of production
Good attendance and punctuality
The ability to work permanent night shifts
Safety boots and Hi-Vis are required.
