As the Landing Gear Systems Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.
You will be involved in:
Responsible for delivery of engineering tasks in the projects/mission assigned and personally delivering on-time, on-quality, and on-cost delivery technical solutions for the assigned scope
Define technical requirements, perform technical analyses, write plans, accomplishment summaries etc. to achieve approval from Senior Engineers and Specialists.
Critique and validate task planning, and regularly update progress reporting for Engineering Leaders
Execute V&V strategies, test definition, and technical analyses for the assigned scope
Responsible for engineering deliverables related to validation and verification evidence/reports, ensuring compliance to the applicable requirements prior to submission for review
Investigate and resolve technical issues encountered during development or in-service operation within the assigned scope, developing and substantiating robust solutions
Engage regularly with Senior Engineers, Specialists, and Engineering Leaders to gain support, agreement, and ensure alignment
Support other engineers, fostering team development and knowledge sharing
Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers
Prepare technical documentation (reports, specifications, presentations) to support project milestones, design reviews, etc.
Reviewed/Approved technical documentation (specifications, reports, V&V evidence etc.)
Your skillset & experience:
Degree-level qualification in Engineering or a related discipline
Systems Engineering experience
Knowledge/understanding of aircraft systems
Data analysis, report writing, and presentation skills
Good interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving skills and an interest in technical challenges
