Overtime: £19.88 per hour (1.5x basic rate – completely optional)
About the Role
Serply Recruitment is recruiting experienced Forklift Truck Operators on behalf of a well-established, world-renowned warehousing and logistics organisation in Stalybridge, Manchester.
Our client supports blue-chip companies with their warehousing and distribution operations and is looking to strengthen its existing warehouse team.
We are recruiting operators with experience and certification in any of the following forklift truck types:

Bendi
*
Flexi
*
Pivot Steer
*
Counterbalance
*
Reach
You only need to hold one of the above forklift licences to be considered, as vacancies are available across the different truck types.
Key Responsibilities
*
Safely and accurately operating forklift trucks in accordance with site health and safety procedures.
*
Loading and unloading HGV deliveries.
*
Moving, storing and replenishing palletised stock throughout the warehouse.
*
Carrying out stock rotation, put-away and picking activities.
*
Using handheld scanners to accurately record stock movements.
*
Working as part of a team to achieve daily warehouse targets.
*
Maintaining high standards of productivity, accuracy and safety.
*
Handling customer goods with care and attention to detail.
*
Supporting general warehouse duties as required.
Key Skills & Requirements
*
Previous experience operating at least one of the following: Bendi, Flexi, Pivot Steer, Counterbalance or Reach forklift trucks.
*
A valid forklift licence/certificate for at least one of the above truck types is essential.
*
Previous experience within a warehouse or distribution environment.
*
Experience using handheld scanners.
*
Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.
*
Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high working standards.
*
Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
*
Flexible approach to duties and willingness to support the wider warehouse team.

Working Days: Monday to Friday
Shift Times: 7am–5pm
Hourly Rate: £13.25 per hour
Overtime Rate: £19.88 per hour (1.5x basic rate)
All overtime is completely optional.
