Bring a fresh perspective to different classes while keeping their learning on track. Transparency Education is recruiting a PPA Cover Teacher for a primary school opportunity in Dartford, Kent.
You will cover teachers’ planning, preparation and assessment time across an agreed timetable. The role calls for confident classroom practice and the ability to connect quickly with pupils. Year groups, subject responsibilities and preparation expectations will be discussed before you accept the placement.
Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging lessons during scheduled primary PPA cover.
• Use clear starts and transitions to make the most of lesson time.
• Adapt planned activities to different abilities and additional needs.
• Follow school routines and coordinate effectively with support staff.
• Provide class teachers with a useful handover on learning and any follow-up.
Requirements
• QTS and a sound understanding of the primary curriculum.
• Experience managing classes and teaching across different subjects.
• An adaptable, organised approach and reliable communication.
• An enhanced DBS check, or willingness to complete one as part of the recruitment process.
