How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Found Talent are recruiting a Business Analyst for a growing Manchester-based brand in the middle of a major digital transformation. You'll be the go-to person for product knowledge, working with engineering, UX (User Experience) and operational teams to shape customer-facing web and mobile products.

    The role suits someone who works well on their own, is comfortable with technical teams, and can turn complex business needs into clear, deliverable requirements.

    What you'll be doing

    * Building relationships across IT and the wider business to pin down and shape requirements

    * Gathering, analysing and documenting requirements, and turning them into user stories with clear acceptance criteria

    * Mapping out how products, services and processes work today and how they should work in future (As-Is and To-Be), both internally and for customers

    * Working with the UX team on customer journeys and digital experiences

    * Getting involved in Agile delivery, including sprint ceremonies and backlog refinement

    * Looking into how systems and operations are performing, and where they could be more resilient

    What we're looking for

    * A proven track record as a Business Analyst in a technology or digital setting

    * Experience working with Product, Engineering and UX teams

    * Time spent on web, mobile or customer-facing projects

    * A good grasp of Agile ways of working

    * Confidence dealing with stakeholders at all levels

    * The ability to take technical ideas and put them into clear, well-structured requirements

    What's in it for you?

    * Annual bonus

    * Yearly pay review

    * Hybrid and remote working options

    * Training and certification budget

    * Enhanced annual leave

    * Excellent pension

    * Healthcare programme
