🌟 Are you a passionate KS2 Teacher looking for your next opportunity in Birmingham? Aspire People is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to support a primary school in the B7 area and surrounding locations!
This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who enjoys bringing learning to life, building positive relationships with pupils and helping children develop the confidence and skills they need as they progress towards Year 6.
👩‍🏫 About the Role:
You will be responsible for delivering engaging, creative and inclusive lessons across the Year 5 curriculum, ensuring pupils are challenged, supported and encouraged to reach their full potential.
Your role will include:
📖 Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum.
✏️ Supporting pupils across core subjects, including English and Maths, while encouraging independent learning and problem-solving.
🌈 Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels supported and motivated to learn.
📊 Assessing pupil progress, identifying learning needs and adapting teaching approaches to help children achieve their targets.
🤝 Building strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents to support children's academic progress and personal development.
⭐ Maintaining effective classroom management and promoting positive behaviour throughout the school day.
✅ What We're Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS is essential).
* Previous UK experience teaching in a primary school setting is essential.
* KS2 teaching experience, ideally within Year 5.
* Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills.
* The ability to plan engaging lessons and adapt to different learning abilities.
* A positive, reliable and flexible approach.
* A genuine passion for helping children succeed academically and personally.
