How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Remote Appointment Setter / Business Development Consultant

    Work From Home – Nationwide

    £600 per week consultancy fee + uncapped commission
    Realistic commission OTE: approximately £1,200 per month in addition

    Check Challenge Appeal Ltd is looking for confident, experienced and motivated Appointment Setters / Business Development Consultants to join our growing team on a remote consultancy basis.

    This is a telephone-based business-to-business role working from home, speaking directly with business owners, directors and senior decision-makers across the UK.

    Your objective is simple: create genuine interest in our services, identify suitable businesses and secure qualified appointments for our specialist team.

    ABOUT CHECK CHALLENGE APPEAL

    Check Challenge Appeal Ltd specialises in helping businesses review and challenge their commercial property assessments and business rates liabilities.

    We work with businesses across the UK and are continuing to expand our appointment-setting and business development operation.

    We are looking for individuals who are comfortable speaking to decision-makers, can build rapport quickly and, most importantly, are motivated by results.

    THE ROLE

    As a Remote Appointment Setter / Business Development Consultant, you will:

    * Make outbound B2B calls to businesses throughout the UK.

    * Speak with business owners, directors and senior decision-makers.

    * Introduce Check Challenge Appeal and explain the purpose of our service clearly and professionally.

    * Identify suitable prospective clients.

    * Generate interest and overcome initial objections.

    * Book qualified appointments for our specialist team.

    * Accurately update prospect and appointment information within our CRM.

    * Work consistently towards agreed appointment and performance targets.

    * Follow up prospective clients where required.

    You will be working remotely and will need to be self-motivated, organised and comfortable managing your own working day.

    WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    We are particularly interested in people with previous experience in appointment setting, telesales, telemarketing, lead generation, business development, outbound calling or B2B sales.

    You should be:

    * Confident and professional on the telephone.

    * Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls.

    * Able to engage business owners and senior decision-makers.

    * Persistent without being overly aggressive.

    * Comfortable handling objections.

    * Target-driven and commercially minded.

    * Reliable and able to work independently from home.

    * Comfortable working within a structured CRM and appointment-setting process.

    Previous knowledge of business rates or commercial property is not essential, as training will be provided.

    EARNINGS

    The consultancy package is £600 per week plus uncapped performance-related commission.

    Realistic additional commission OTE is approximately £1,200 per month.

    This gives realistic overall earnings of approximately £45,600 per annum at OTE, with the opportunity to earn more for strong performance.

    WORKING ARRANGEMENT

    This is a remote, work-from-home consultancy opportunity and applications are welcomed from suitable candidates throughout the UK.

    This is an independent consultancy position rather than a salaried employed position, so applicants must be comfortable working on that basis.

    Full information regarding our systems, CRM, telephone platform, training and appointment-setting process will be provided as part of onboarding.

    INTERESTED?

    If you are an experienced telephone professional who enjoys speaking with businesses, generating opportunities and being rewarded for results, we would like to hear from you.

    Apply now with your CV and our recruitment team will contact suitable applicants to discuss the opportunity further
