Class Mate is recruiting a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in a primary school in NG7, Nottingham, starting Monday 2 November 2026.
This role would suit an experienced Teaching Assistant who can build positive relationships, provide consistent individual support and help a pupil access learning in a primary school environment.
The role
* Provide tailored 1:1 support throughout the school day.
* Help the pupil engage with classroom activities and learning.
* Support emotional regulation, communication and positive behaviour.
* Encourage independence, confidence and participation.
* Work closely with the class teacher and SEN team to support the pupil's needs.
We're looking for someone who:
* Has experience supporting children with special educational needs in a school or similar setting.
* Can adapt their approach to meet individual needs.
* Is patient, reliable and confident building positive relationships.
* Understands safeguarding and professional boundaries.
* Can commit to the full-time working pattern.
