EYFS Teacher - Maternity Cover

Location: Bury, Greater Manchester
Contract: Full-time, long-term maternity cover

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Bury on a maternity cover basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Early Years practitioner who understands the importance of providing children with a strong foundation for their educational journey. The school is looking for a teacher who can create a stimulating, inclusive and engaging learning environment where children feel confident to explore, develop and thrive.

The Role

Planning and delivering engaging, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework.

Supporting children's communication, language, social and emotional development.

Creating a stimulating environment that encourages curiosity and independence.

Observing, assessing and tracking pupil progress.

Working closely with teaching assistants and the wider Early Years team.

Building positive relationships with parents and carers.

The Ideal Candidate

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Has experience teaching within EYFS or Reception.

Has a strong understanding of early childhood development.

Is creative, patient and enthusiastic.

Can create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
