How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Project Manager / Contracts Manager

    Brierley Hill

    Up to £80,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits

    ITS Construction Professionals are recruiting for a Project Manager / Contracts Manager on behalf of a well-established, highly regarded contractor based in Brierley Hill. They have a strong reputation across the Midlands for quality work and long-standing relationships. With a healthy pipeline of work, they’re now looking to add an experienced manager to their team.

    You’ll oversee 2–3 projects at a time across the Midlands. The work covers both residential housing developments and main contracting schemes. That variety makes this a great opportunity for a time-served Contracts Manager, or for a Site Manager who’s ready to step up.

    The Role

    * Oversee 2–3 live projects across the Midlands, from pre-start through to handover

    * Manage and support Site Managers and site teams so projects run safely, on time and within budget

    * Plan and monitor project programmes, flagging risks early and putting solutions in place

    * Take responsibility for project costs, valuations and financial reporting, working closely with the commercial team

    * Make sure health and safety standards and site compliance stay high on every site

    * Act as the key point of contact for clients, consultants, design teams and local authorities

    * Manage subcontractors and suppliers, including procurement, performance and quality

    * Run regular site visits, progress meetings and quality inspections

    * Help deliver an excellent finished product and a smooth customer experience

    About You

    * An experienced Contracts Manager or Project Manager, or a Site Manager with a strong track record who’s looking for the next step in your career

    * A background in residential housing and/or main contracting

    * Experience running multiple projects or managing site teams

    * A good understanding of programmes, budgets and build processes

    * Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proactive, solutions-focused approach

    * SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold card) and First Aid

    * A relevant construction qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) is desirable but not essential

    * A full UK driving licence, as you’ll be travelling between sites across the Midlands

    What’s On Offer

    * Salary up to £80,000, depending on experience

    * Car allowance

    * Company pension scheme

    * Private healthcare

    * A clear career progression path within a growing business

    * Continued training and professional development

    * A varied pipeline of housing and main contracting work

    * A supportive, close-knit team with a strong reputation in the region

    This is a great chance to join a respected, stable business that invests in its people and offers real long-term career growth.
