QA Manager – Roofing & Cladding

I'm currently recruiting for an experienced QA Manager to join a specialist roofing and cladding contractor on a major £30m package at Sizewell C in Suffolk.

This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in a substantial project offering approximately 2½ years of work.

Responsibilities:

Manage quality assurance across roofing and cladding installations.

*

Ensure works comply with the project Quality Plan and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).

*

Carry out site inspections, recording photographic evidence and testing documentation.

*

Manage snagging, non-conformances and handover processes.

*

Liaise with clients, building control and clerks of works.

*

Oversee material inspections and maintain quality trackers.

*

Ensure subcontractors adhere to required inspection and hold points.

Requirements:

*

Strong background in roofing, cladding or façade quality management.

*

Experience using digital QA systems, ideally Dalux.

*

Good understanding of technical drawings, specifications and installation standards.

*

SMSTS, appropriate CSCS/NVQ Management qualification, First Aid and Fire Marshal.

*

Confident communicating with clients and subcontractors.

*

Based within a commutable distance of Sizewell, Suffolk
