How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Overview

The Senior Business Analyst will support the transformation of a UK banking operation through the migration from the existing Equation core banking platform to a new Finacle implementation, working closely with business stakeholders in London and the wider Finacle implementation team in Riyadh.

The role will combine strong Business Analysis and consultancy capability with practical financial services and core banking experience. The successful candidate will lead stakeholder engagement, business process analysis, requirements definition, gap and impact analysis, regulatory mapping and business readiness activities to ensure the new solution meets the needs of the London operation.

The role will also contribute to understanding the wider business architecture of the London branch, identifying operational pain points, risks and opportunities and helping shape a pragmatic roadmap for business and technology change.

    Responsibilities

    Business Analysis & Consultancy
Act as the senior BA and key conduit between the London business, Head Office in Riyadh and the Finacle implementation team.
Engage senior stakeholders and SMEs to understand business objectives, processes, requirements and concerns.
Lead workshops, process analysis, requirements definition, gap analysis and impact assessments.
Challenge requirements and ways of working constructively, identifying opportunities for simplification, standardisation and improvement.
    Core Banking Transformation
Analyse the impact of replacing Equation with Finacle across business processes, people, data, systems, controls and regulatory requirements.
Support the definition of future-state processes, local configuration requirements and functional scope, leveraging existing ANB Finacle capabilities and knowledge.
Define and validate requirements for data migration, interfaces and system integrations.
Identify and manage business, operational, regulatory and implementation risks and dependencies.
    Testing, Migration & Business Readiness
Support data migration validation, business testing, UAT, business simulation and defect resolution.
Develop and review business test scenarios and scripts aligned to requirements and critical business processes.
Support transition, cutover, training, communications and business readiness activities.
Provide business support through implementation and post-go-live where required.
    Business Architecture & Continuous Improvement
Assess the London operation across people, processes, data, compliance and systems to identify pain points, risks and opportunities.
Contribute to business capability, process and systems views and identify opportunities for business and operational improvement.
Support the development of a pragmatic change roadmap aligned to strategic objectives, business value, risk and regulatory requirements.

    Qualifications

A relevant degree or equivalent professional experience in Business Analysis, Banking, Finance, Business, Technology or a related discipline.
Relevant Business Analysis, Banking or Financial Services qualifications.

    Essential skills

Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and technology delivery processes.
Ability to understand and analyse the relationship between business processes, people, data and technology.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and consulting skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to act as an effective conduit between business and technology teams.
Ability to work collaboratively with geographically distributed teams and offshore implementation teams.

    Experience

Significant Business Analysis experience within financial services, preferably banking.
Practical UK banking experience, with an understanding of the regulatory, operational and customer requirements of a UK banking environment.
Experience working on core banking transformation, system implementation, migration or replacement programmes.
Experience working with packaged software solutions and adapting business processes to standard product capabilities.
Strong experience in business process analysis, requirements elicitation, gap analysis and impact assessment.
Demonstrable experience facilitating workshops and engaging effectively with senior stakeholders and business SMEs.
Experience translating business requirements into clear functional and system requirements.
Experience analysing data, interfaces, system dependencies and migration impacts within a transformation programme.
Experience supporting business and/or User Acceptance Testing, including test scenario and script development.
Experience working with both Agile and Waterfall delivery approaches.
Previous experience with Infosys Finacle, particularly core banking implementation or migration.
Experience with Equation, Flexcube, Temenos or other banking platforms.
Experience across core banking products such as deposits, lending, corporate banking or treasury.
Experience of UK banking regulatory requirements and controls.
Experience of data migration and business validation within core banking transformations.
Experience of interfaces and integrations between core banking and surrounding banking applications.
