How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    An ASAP start is required.

    Client Details

Our client is a well-established and highly regarded public sector organisation providing critical services across Yorkshire and the surrounding region.

The organisation is entering an exciting period of transformation and growth, with significant change programmes underway and plans progressing towards a future merger. This creates a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping workforce strategies, supporting leaders through change, and making a tangible impact on the organisation's future.

    Description

As HR Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to managers and senior leaders, supporting the delivery of people strategies that enable organisational objectives and service delivery.

    Key responsibilities include:

Managing complex employee relations cases and supporting managers with sensitive people issues.
Building strong relationships with senior leaders, influencing decision-making and driving best practice.
Supporting organisational change, restructures and transformation programmes.
Contributing to workforce planning activities, ensuring services are appropriately resourced for future needs.
Leading and supporting consultation processes where required.
Coaching and developing managers to strengthen people management capability.
Supporting the ongoing delivery of key HR projects and people initiatives.
Collaborating with HR colleagues to deliver a high-quality, customer-focused HR service.
Providing leadership and guidance to HR operational teams where required.

    Profile

We are particularly interested in speaking with candidates who:

Are immediately available or available at short notice.
Have substantial experience operating as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Business Partner.
Have previous NHS experience or come from a broader public sector environment.
Possess strong employee relations expertise and are confident managing complex casework.
Have experience supporting organisational change, restructures and transformation programmes.
Can influence, challenge and partner effectively with senior stakeholders.
Are comfortable working independently with minimal onboarding and supervision.
Have experience of workforce planning and organisational development initiatives.
Have exposure to merger, integration or large-scale change programmes (highly desirable).
Have managed or led HR operational teams (advantageous but not essential).

    Job Offer

Salary: £58,000 - £64,000 per annum, depending on experience
    Contract: 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract
Location: Leeds-based with travel across regional sites as required
Working Pattern: Hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days per week onsite
Benefits: On-site parking available at the majority of locations
