About the Role:
Supply Desk is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 1/2 Class Teacher for a mixed years group, full-time position at a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Southampton. This friendly school prides itself on creating a nurturing environment where children are encouraged to develop confidence, curiosity and a love of learning.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for a mixed Year 1/2 class, delivering engaging and creative lessons that inspire pupils to achieve their full potential. What We’re Looking For:
• A qualified Primary Teacher with experience teaching within KS1
• Strong understanding of the Year 1 and Year 2 curriculum
• Someone with high expectations for attainment, behaviour and pupil progress
• A creative and engaging approach to teaching and learning
• Ability to adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with SEND
• A positive team player who enjoys contributing to school life
Requirements:
• A UK-recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
• A current DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Full compliance with DfE and Safer Recruitment standards
