Description:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a proactive and reliable Warehouse Operative to join a busy logistics department. This hands-on role offers variety in day-to-day responsibilities and would suit someone with a strong work ethic and keen attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the logistics department with daily operations, including unloading and checking incoming stock
* Report delivery discrepancies to the relevant account manager and client
* Accurately locate and record stock within designated client areas
* Process client orders using Warehouse Management Software (training provided)
* Accurately pick, pack, label and dispatch orders following client-specific requirements
* Maintain a clean, safe and organised workspace in line with Health & Safety procedures
* Follow environmental policies, including recycling and packaging protocols
Technical Requirements:
* Good keyboard and IT skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
* Counterbalance forklift licence (essential)
* Extended-reach forklift licence (preferred - training available)
* Physically capable of lifting up to 25kg and using height-access equipment
* Strong numeracy and literacy skills
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team
