How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Care Coordinator - Domiciliary Care

    Location: Chessington, Surrey

Are you an experienced Care Coordinator looking for a new opportunity, or an experienced carer ready to take the next step into a more office-based role?

    What's on Offer?

    £28,000-£30,000 salary, depending on experience.

Additional earnings through a paid on-call rota.

Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm working hours, plus rotational on-call responsibilities.

    Ongoing training and professional development.

    Opportunities for career progression.

Support from an experienced management team.

    Staff recognition and performance incentives.

Additional payment for agreed care calls outside contracted hours.

    About the Opportunity

We are recruiting for an established and growing domiciliary care provider based in Chessington, seeking an organised, motivated and personable individual to join its friendly and supportive management team.

The company delivers over 5,000 hours of domiciliary care each month, supporting individuals in their own homes across Epsom, Dorking, Leatherhead and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, established service where you'll play an important role in coordinating care, supporting staff and ensuring service users receive reliable, high-quality support.

    The Role

As Care Coordinator, you'll help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the service, working closely with care staff, service users and the management team.

    Your main responsibilities will include:

Care planning and scheduling: Organising staff rotas, coordinating care visits and ensuring continuity of care.

Supporting the care team: Managing changes to schedules, responding to staff availability and helping resolve day-to-day operational challenges.

Communication and coordination: Maintaining positive relationships with care workers, service users and families, ensuring everyone is kept informed.

Maintaining service standards: Monitoring care delivery, updating care management systems and supporting the Registered Manager.

This is primarily an office-based position, although you'll also participate in a paid on-call rota and occasionally provide emergency care-call cover when required.

    About You

    You will either:

Have previous experience as a Care Coordinator, Care Scheduler or Rota Coordinator within domiciliary care.

    OR

Be an experienced carer or Senior Care Assistant within domiciliary care who is looking to progress into a more office-based role within the care sector.

In addition, you will need to:

Hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), or be willing to work towards achieving this qualification.

Be organised, confident communicating with others and comfortable using IT systems.

Be able to remain calm and find solutions when dealing with unexpected challenges.

Hold a full UK driving licence.

Be willing to participate in the paid on-call rota and provide occasional emergency care cover when required.

Ideally, you'll live in Chessington or within easy commuting distance, including Kingston upon Thames, Surbiton, Epsom, Tolworth, Worcester Park or New Malden.

    Interested?

Whether you're an established Care Coordinator looking for a fresh challenge or an experienced carer ready to take your career in a new direction, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply today to find out more about this opportunity in Chessington.

Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship. A full UK driving licence and enhanced DBS check are required.
