Pay: £15.50-£18.00 per hour
Hours: 42.5 hours per week, with overtime paid at time and a half thereafter
We're working with a national plant hire business looking for a Mobile Plant Fitter to join its growing major projects team, maintaining construction and earthmoving equipment across customer sites.
This is a field-based role, with access to the Midlands depot in CV37 when required.
The Role
Service and maintain excavators, articulated dump trucks, dozers, telehandlers, compaction and agricultural equipment.
Carry out routine servicing, preventative maintenance, fluid checks and replacement of parts and consumables.
Inspect equipment, report faults and prepare machinery for redeployment.
Support larger maintenance and repair tasks alongside the wider team.
Assist with installing GPS and machine safety systems, with product training provided.
Requirements
Experience maintaining plant or construction equipment, with strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge.
NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant or Machinery Maintenance, or a valid CSCS card.
Full driving licence and the right to work in the UK.
Understanding of risk assessments and method statements.
Organised, proactive and comfortable working independently and within a team.
