TeacherActive is looking for enthusiastic, caring and reliable Nursery Practitioners to support our wonderful nurseries and Early Years settings across Newton Abbot (TQ12) and the surrounding areas.
Whether you're looking for a couple of days a week, regular shifts or the freedom to choose when you work, we'd love to hear from you!
What will you be doing?
Creating a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment for children aged 0–5.
Supporting children's learning and development through creative, play-based activities.
Encouraging confidence, independence and curiosity in little learners.
Building positive relationships with children, parents and nursery teams.
Supporting daily routines, including mealtimes, personal care and outdoor play.
Following the EYFS framework and maintaining high safeguarding standards.
Bringing enthusiasm, creativity and a positive attitude to every shift!
What are we looking for?
Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification, or QTS.
Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.
A genuine passion for supporting children's development.
A caring, patient and enthusiastic personality.
Confidence supporting babies, toddlers and preschool children.
Reliability, flexibility and the ability to adapt to different nursery environments.
A good understanding of safeguarding and the EYFS framework.
