How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Supporting pupils with additional learning needs, including SEND

Adapting resources and activities to meet pupils' needs

Helping monitor pupil engagement and progress

Preparing classroom resources and supporting day-to-day learning

Working closely with class teachers and other Teaching Assistants

Contributing to a positive, inclusive and well-organised learning environment

    About You

We're looking for a confident and adaptable Level 3 Teaching Assistant who enjoys taking an active role in children's learning and is comfortable leading activities when required.

    You should have:

A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent relevant experience

Previous experience working in a primary school

Confidence supporting learning across different year groups

Experience delivering planned lessons, activities or interventions

    Strong behaviour-management and communication skills

The ability to follow planning and maintain classroom routines

Experience supporting pupils with different abilities and learning needs

A flexible, organised and proactive approach

The ability to work independently when required and collaboratively as part of a team

Experience providing PPA cover or leading classroom learning activities would be particularly beneficial.

    Why Apply?

Long-term opportunity in a primary school

A varied role combining TA responsibilities with PPA cover

Opportunity to work across different classes and year groups

    Supportive school environment
