How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

You'll work closely with developers, product owners and other technical stakeholders, taking ownership of testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle.

    Key Responsibilities

    *

Design, develop and execute manual, automated, regression and exploratory tests.

    *

Create and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress, Playwright or similar frameworks.

    *

Use JavaScript and/or TypeScript to develop and improve test automation.

    *

Review user stories, requirements and acceptance criteria to identify testing scenarios and potential risks.

    *

    *

Validate application functionality across different browsers and environments.

    *

Identify, investigate and document software defects using Jira.

Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks, improving test reliability and coverage.

    *

Support the integration of automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

    *

Investigate application behaviour using browser developer tools, API responses and application logs.

    *

Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning and release activities.

    *

Provide clear reporting on test results, defects and release readiness.

    *

Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, tools and overall software quality.

    Skills & Experience Required

    *

Approximately 4+ years' commercial software testing experience.

    *

Strong background in manual, regression and automated testing of web-based applications.

    *

Hands-on experience with Cypress, Playwright or comparable automation frameworks.

    *

Practical knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript for writing and maintaining automated tests.

    *

Experience with API testing and understanding of request/response handling.

Good understanding of software testing methodologies, defect management and the SDLC.

    *

Experience working within Agile software development environments.

    *

Familiarity with Jira and CI/CD processes.

A relevant degree or ISTQB certification would be advantageous but is not essential.
