How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Personal Tax Senior Manager

    Location: London - hybrid role

    Salary: £82,500 - £95,000 pa

    Our award winning global client is looking for a Personal Tax Senior Manager to join their growing Private Wealth team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional who enjoys working closely with clients, managing a portfolio and developing both client and business relationships.

    This is more than just a technical tax role, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of a portfolio, support and develop colleagues, build strong client relationships and play an active role in growing the business.

    Responsibilities

    As a Personal Tax Senior Manager, you will:

    * Manage a portfolio of private clients and provide high-quality advice on their personal tax affairs.

    * Act as a trusted adviser and build strong, long-term client relationships.

    * Oversee the day-to-day management of client work, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.

    * Delegate work effectively across the team and monitor progress.

    * Manage billing and work in progress across your portfolio.

    * Identify opportunities to develop additional work from existing clients.

    * Support business development and help generate new client opportunities

    * Work closely with senior management and contribute to the continued growth of the Private Wealth team.

    * Support and develop more junior members of the team, helping them progress in their careers.

    Experience

    We’re looking for someone with strong experience in private client tax within an accountancy or professional services practice.

    Ideally, you will have:

    * An accountancy or tax qualification such as CTA, ACA or equivalent experience.

    * Strong technical knowledge and experience advising private clients.

    * Previous experience managing a portfolio of clients.

    * Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

    * The ability to manage workloads, delegate effectively and meet deadlines

    * Commercial awareness and an interest in business development.

    * The confidence to work with clients and colleagues at all levels.

    * A genuine interest in developing and mentoring others.

    This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team where your development is taken seriously.
