The Role:
The role focuses on supporting ex-offenders and vulnerable adults to establish and maintain successful tenancies. You will manage a mixed caseload, helping individuals overcome barriers to housing, reduce the risk of homelessness and develop the skills needed to live independently.
The service supports individuals from a range of backgrounds, including prison leavers and people with complex offending histories. Experience supporting individuals convicted of sexual offences may also be relevant.
Key Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of individuals requiring tenancy-related support.

Help residents sustain their tenancies and prevent homelessness.

Support individuals with housing applications, benefits and accessing relevant services.
*
Assist with tenancy issues, rent arrears and maintaining accommodation.
*
Complete risk assessments and identify safeguarding concerns.
*
Work with probation services, housing providers and other agencies to coordinate support.
*
Help residents develop independent living skills and manage their accommodation.
*
Maintain accurate records and monitor progress against support plans.
Requirements
*
Experience in housing support, tenancy sustainment, homelessness or supported housing.
*
Experience working with ex-offenders, prison leavers or individuals on probation.
