How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    We're looking for a Regional Sales Manager to cover the South East of England - someone who can spot opportunities, create demand, and become the go‑to partner for builders' merchants and contractors.
    What You'll Be Doing

    Growing sales and expanding our reach across the South East Region
    Building strong partnerships with merchants, main contractors, and groundwork specialists
    Getting out in front of customers, uncovering needs, and winning high‑value deals
    Owning your territory, managing your pipeline, and driving results
    Working closely with our HQ team to deliver a seamless, premium service
    Using CRM tools (Goldmine & MS Dynamics) to stay organised and ahead of the game
    This is a role for someone who loves autonomy, thrives on results, and knows how to turn opportunities into long‑term relationships.
    What You'll Bring

    5+ years selling drainage or heavy civil products
    Experience with sustainable drainage solutions
    Strong technical understanding - from stormwater storage to flow control and treatment
    A successful track record with builders' merchants, contractors, and premium product ranges
    Confident, persuasive communication and negotiation skills
    A self‑motivated approach - you own your territory and your outcomes
    Ability to follow projects through from first conversation to closing the deal Must-Haves
