How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Repairs Planner – Social Housing

    Location: Havant
    £15.09 per hour
    Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
    Hybrid working – 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
    3-month temporary contract with the possibility of going permanent

    Our client is looking for an experienced Repairs Planner to join their team in Havant, supporting the delivery of responsive repairs and maintenance services within social housing.

    This is a great opportunity for someone with previous repairs planning or scheduling experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and delivering excellent customer service to residents.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Scheduling and coordinating responsive repairs and maintenance appointments.

    Allocating jobs to operatives and ensuring workloads are managed efficiently.

    Liaising with residents to arrange appointments and provide updates.

    Monitoring outstanding repairs and following up on delayed jobs.

    Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate records.

    Working closely with operational teams to ensure repairs are completed within agreed timescales.

    Requirements:

    Previous experience as a Repairs Planner, Repairs Scheduler or in a similar role.

    Experience within social housing or property maintenance is desirable.

    Strong organisational and communication skills.

    Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks effectively.

    Good IT skills and experience using scheduling systems.
