How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Candidate Consultant Manager

    12-month FTC

    About the 360 Care Group

We are a specialist provider of community care, supported living, complex care, children’s services and respite support across the UK.

We deliver high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with a range of needs, helping them live safer, healthier and more independent lives.

    About the Role

We are looking for an experienced recruitment professional and people manager to lead our Candidate Consultant team and take responsibility for delivering a strong, reliable pipeline of care professionals across CAMHS, Adult Supported Living and Physical Complex Care.

You will oversee the recruitment and engagement of Mental Health Support Workers, Registered Mental Health Nurses and Complex Care Support Workers, ensuring the team recruits against current and forecast service needs. You will lead candidate attraction, screening, onboarding support and the conversion of suitable agency workers into our directly employed bank workforce.

Reporting into the Business Manager and working closely with Care Coordination and Onboarding teams, you will turn staffing requirements into clear recruitment priorities, manage team performance and improve the journey from initial contact to first shift. This is a hands-on management role, combining leadership and accountability with direct support for complex candidate queries and priority recruitment activity.

Full induction and relevant training will be provided, including safeguarding and service-specific training.

    What You Will Do

    Recruitment Planning and Candidate Delivery

Work with Care Management and Care Coordination to forecast staffing demand, identify workforce gaps and deliver targeted recruitment plans.

Prioritise candidate pipelines based on skills, experience, location and availability to meet service requirements.

Oversee candidate sourcing, attraction and screening, ensuring suitability for roles and alignment with safe, person-centred care.

Drive the conversion of agency workers into the directly employed bank workforce, ensuring clear communication of employment terms and onboarding expectations.

Support priority campaigns and complex candidate cases, resolving issues and minimising recruitment delays and candidate drop-off.

    Onboarding, Compliance and Deployment

Oversee candidate progression through the 360 Onboarding platform, working with the Onboarding team to resolve outstanding requirements and remove bottlenecks.

Ensure safer recruitment standards are followed and all required checks, training and service-specific requirements are completed before deployment.

Coordinate meet-and-greet arrangements and clear handovers to Care Coordination, ensuring workers are matched to suitable services based on their skills, experience and availability.

Monitor progression from clearance to first shift, reducing deployment delays and strengthening early engagement and retention.

    Reporting, Collaboration and Continuous Improvement

Provide accurate reporting to the Business Manager on recruitment pipelines, KPIs, conversion rates, clearance times and time to first shift.

Analyse candidate withdrawals, declined offers and early attrition, implementing improvements to strengthen recruitment outcomes and retention.

Use workforce data to identify staffing risks, optimise the deployment of cleared workers and improve workforce availability.

Maintain accurate, confidential candidate records to support reporting, audits and inspections.

Collaborate across departments, escalate recruitment and compliance risks promptly, and ensure all activities meet company policies, regulatory requirements and quality standards.

    Skills Experience and Requirements:

    Essential

Experience in recruitment, candidate management or workforce engagement, with responsibility for managing candidate pipelines and onboarding journeys.

Experience leading, supervising or coaching a recruitment or candidate management team and managing performance against agreed targets.

Ability to translate staffing requirements into recruitment priorities, organise team workloads and respond effectively to changing demand.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to resolve concerns, maintain engagement and handle challenging conversations professionally.

Highly organised, with strong attention to detail, accurate record-keeping and the ability to interpret recruitment data and report on performance.

Experience using recruitment, onboarding or workforce management systems, with an understanding of confidentiality and recruitment compliance.

    Desirable

Experience recruiting or managing recruitment within health or social care, particularly CAMHS, supported living or complex care.

Knowledge of CQC requirements, safeguarding and safer recruitment practices.

Experience converting agency workers into directly employed bank staff and improving candidate conversion or retention.

Experience planning targeted recruitment campaigns and improving recruitment or onboarding processes.

    Personal Attributes

An approachable and supportive leader who builds trust and holds people accountable fairly.

Proactive and results-focused, with a commitment to quality and a positive candidate experience.

Organised, resilient and able to make sound decisions under pressure.

Honest, dependable and collaborative, with the confidence to challenge constructively and escalate concerns.

Committed to safe, person-centred care and continuous improvement.

    Equality Diversity and Inclusion

360 Care Group is committed to an inclusive workplace where everyone is treated with dignity, fairness and respect. We welcome applications from all backgrounds and ensure recruitment decisions are based on skills, experience, values and potential, with equal opportunities for all.

    Safer Recruitment and DBS
