This is a key role within the Property Services Team, leading Taff's in-house repairs function and helping deliver high-quality, safe and efficient maintenance services across all their homes.
The role

You'll lead and develop a high-performing, customer-focused responsive repairs and voids service, ensuring repairs are delivered safely, efficiently and compliantly, while meeting the needs of tenants and organisational priorities.
You'll have overall responsibility for:
Responsive repairs and voids
Planned and cyclical maintenance programmes
Fleet operations
Supplier and contractor relationships
Performance, productivity and service improvement
Budgets, resources and value for money
Health and safety, compliance and operational standardsYou'll use performance data and customer insight to drive improvement, maximise productivity and ensure resources are used effectively.
What you'll bring to the role
NVQ Level 3 in a building-related qualification or equivalent relevant experience
Experience managing and delivering high-quality repairs services
Experience planning and scheduling complex workloads to maximise team productivity
Knowledge of the Welsh Housing Quality Standard, including HHSRS and WHQS Addendum
Excellent knowledge of health and safety and relevant legislation and regulations
Experience planning and managing budgets effectively to deliver value for money
Ability to plan complex workloads across a range of trades
Working knowledge of CDM Regulations, or willingness to work towards thisBenefits
