We are currently looking for an experienced Paint Sprayer / OHC Driver to join our team. This is an immediate opening for someone with experience handling steel and operating an overhead crane (OHC).
The successful candidate will be responsible for safely handling and moving steel products of various lengths, from approximately 300mm up to 12–14 metres, as well as supporting painting and spraying operations.
Key Responsibilities

Operating an Overhead Crane (OHC) to safely lift, move and position steel products.

Handling steel lengths ranging from 300mm to 12–14 metres.
*
Preparing steel surfaces and carrying out paint spraying duties.
*
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with company procedures.
*
Following all Health & Safety requirements and maintaining a safe working environment.
*
Carrying out general duties associated with steel handling and production.
*
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working area.
About You
*
Previous experience working with steel or other heavy materials is essential.
*
Experience operating an overhead crane is required.
*
A strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures.
*
Physically fit and comfortable handling large and heavy steel products.
*
Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a team.
*
Paint spraying experience is desirable, but full training can be provided for the right candidate.
*

Working Hours & Overtime

Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 4:30pm

Overtime available.

Weekday overtime: Time and a third
*
Saturday overtime: Time and a half
*
