How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Playworker | Loughton | Breakfast & After-School Clubs | £14.25-£16.65 per hour | Paediatric First Aid Required

    Are you a Playworker with current Paediatric First Aid training looking for school club work in Loughton? Reeson Education is recruiting for breakfast and after-school club support, helping children enjoy a safe and engaging start and finish to their school day.

    This opportunity suits an experienced Playworker who enjoys organising activities, building positive relationships and keeping children's wellbeing at the centre of their work.

    Role Highlights for a Playworker

    Position: Playworker.
    Location: Loughton, Essex, IG10.
    Pay: £14.25-£16.65 per hour, depending on experience.
    Hours: Morning breakfast club and afternoon after-school club sessions; exact shifts discussed on application.
    Essential: A current Paediatric First Aid certificate.
    Start: ASAP, following registration and safeguarding checks.Your Role as a Playworker

    As a Playworker, you will support the club team in supervising children, delivering enjoyable activities and maintaining a welcoming environment before and after school.

    Organise games, arts and crafts, outdoor play and age-appropriate activities.
    Encourage children to participate, make choices and play cooperatively.
    Support breakfast and snack routines, following hygiene and allergy procedures.
    Maintain positive behaviour through clear expectations and a calm approach.
    Respond appropriately to first aid incidents within your training and follow reporting procedures.
    Follow safeguarding, attendance and collection procedures.What We're Looking For in a Playworker

    Current Paediatric First Aid training is essential.
    Previous experience working with children in a school or nursery is essential.
    A Playworker who is reliable, attentive and confident supervising groups.
    Availability for breakfast and/or after-school club sessions.
    Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues.
    An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
