Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity in Slough?
We are currently working with a welcoming school in Slough who are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them achieve their full potential.
The Role:
Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN
Support students with their learning, development and emotional wellbeing
Assist teachers with classroom activities and lesson preparation
Help manage behaviour and promote positive engagement
Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD and SEMH
Encourage independence and confidence in pupils
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and other support staff
The Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
Strong understanding of SEN and additional learning needs
Patient, caring and supportive approach
Confident in managing challenging behaviour
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Able to build positive relationships with pupils
A relevant Teaching Assistant/SEN qualification is desirable but not essential
