How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Role Overview

Wynnstay Group is looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Farm Improvement & Innovation Co-ordinator to support the delivery of our Farm Improvement & Innovation product range across the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing people, products and processes together to ensure customers receive an efficient and reliable service. Acting as a central point of contact for Stores, Field Sales, suppliers, transport providers and internal teams, you will help keep orders, quotations, product information and customer enquiries moving smoothly from initial request through to completion.

The role offers a varied mix of co-ordination, administration and customer support activities, requiring strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. You will play an important role in ensuring products and services are delivered accurately and on time while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Working closely with colleagues across the business, you will support the management of farm improvement solutions, including ventilation systems, feed silos, pre-cast concrete products and bespoke customer requirements. You will also assist with grant-related enquiries, product maintenance and transport co-ordination, helping to deliver a seamless customer experience.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual who enjoys problem-solving, improving processes and making a tangible contribution to business performance through effective operational support.

    Responsibilities

Co-ordinating customer orders across the Farm Improvement & Innovation product range, including ventilation systems, pre-cast concrete products, feed silos and bespoke solutions.
Managing quotations, product enquiries and sales support requests from Wynnstay Stores, Field Sales teams and customers.
Arranging transport and delivery schedules to stores and customer sites, ensuring all parties are kept informed throughout the process.
Acting as a key point of contact between stores, suppliers, transport providers and internal departments.
Creating, maintaining and updating permanent and temporary product codes and product information within business systems.
Supporting stores with product availability, order progress updates and stock-related enquiries.
Managing grant-related enquiries, ensuring they are handled efficiently and progressed to an appropriate outcome.
Maintaining accurate records, documentation and order information, ensuring data integrity across systems.
Monitoring outstanding actions and escalating risks, delays, exceptions or issues where appropriate.
Working collaboratively with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve customer and operational issues.
Identifying opportunities to improve processes, strengthen service delivery and enhance data quality.
Supporting the ongoing development of systems, procedures and ways of working to improve operational efficiency.
Providing a high level of customer service while balancing business priorities and operational requirements.
Building effective working relationships across Stores, Field Sales, Commercial and Supply Chain teams.
Contributing to agreed objectives and adhering to company policies and procedures.

    What We're Looking For

Experience in administration, co-ordination, customer service, purchasing, sales support or a similar operational role.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate information and records.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, suppliers and customers.
Confidence using Microsoft Office applications and business systems.
The ability to learn new systems, processes and product information quickly.
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to manage issues through to resolution.

A proactive and adaptable approach to work.
