With class sizes capped at 8-10 students and an average of 5 staff members per team, you'll join a well-resourced school with excellent facilities, including sensory rooms, a soft playroom, and a hydrotherapy pool. The learning experience is further enhanced by weekly off-site activities and strong support from therapists and medical staff.
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide 1:1 support to pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)/Autism to help children meet their developmental milestones as a SEND Teaching Assistant.
Help create a positive and engaging learning environment as an Unqualified SEND Teaching Assistant.
Participate in off-site learning opportunities, supporting the children in varied settings.
Build strong relationships with students and staff to prioritise progress as an Unqualified SEND Teaching Assistant.What we are looking for
Immediate availability.
Recent experience working with children and a reference to support it (at least 3 months in the UK)
A Child and Adult DBS or willingness to obtain one.
