Brackley | £22,000 - £30,000 DOE + Overtime | Permanent | Full-time
We're recruiting for an established and growing production business in Brackley, looking for Machine Operatives to join a busy specialist textile production team.
This is a great opportunity whether you already have experience within production, manufacturing, textiles or machine operation, or you're at the beginning of your career and looking for a practical, hands-on role where you can learn new skills.
You don't need experience operating these particular machines as full training will be provided. What's most important is that you're reliable, keen to learn, have a good eye for detail and take pride in doing a job properly.
What you'll be doing
* Learning to operate semi-automated textile finishing and stitching machines
* Reading and following job sheets and production instructions
* Handling and guiding fabrics through the finishing process
* Trimming and finishing materials
* Quality checking completed work
* Folding and packing finished products
* Working accurately and efficiently to production deadlines
* Working as part of a busy and supportive production team
What we're looking for
Previous experience within production, manufacturing, textiles, fabrics, print finishing or machine operation would be useful, but it's certainly not essential.
More importantly, you'll be:

* Practical and comfortable in a hands-on working environment
* Accurate with good attention to detail
* Able to follow instructions and job sheets
* Comfortable working at pace and to deadlines
* Proactive, adaptable and a good team player
